Leather Care
Caring for Classic Leather
For many years, and still today, I’ve offered bags made from full-grain leather. Timeless pieces that soften with age and carry their history with quiet confidence. Leather is a natural material, and with age it only becomes more beautiful, if treated kindly.
Clean, Gently
- Wipe the bag down now and then with a soft, dry cloth to remove everyday dust.
- If needed, use a lightly damp cloth with a small amount of leather cleaner. No soaking, no scrubbing.
Condition with Care
- Leather can dry out, so I recommend a nourishing leather conditioner once or twice a year.
- Just a small amount on a soft cloth, gently rubbed in, will do. Let it sit a moment, then lightly buff.
Protect from the Elements
- Keep your bag out of direct sunlight and away from radiators or heaters.
- If it gets caught in the rain, pat it dry with a clean towel and let it air dry naturally. Never use a hairdryer or place it on a heater.
Store Thoughtfully
- When not in use, store your bag in a breathable fabric dust cover, away from damp or extreme heat.
- Stuff it with tissue paper to help it keep its shape.
